It is extremely important to be aware of the issues within our County. People of Benton County need some clarification and proper direction. There are many citizens who are not pleased with the current state of our county, who wonder about the limits of freedom, who question the effects of the negative and adversarial decisions being made that we are now seeing brought to light, especially within the last several months.
There are still, however, many who seem oblivious to the fact that the Constitution prohibits any law from abridging press freedom, and the defense it provides to a free exchange of ideas, good or bad, right or wrong, no matter what side an individual takes on an issue, whether the individual is for or against a certain government official.
A closed society where citizens do not learn anything beyond their immediate surroundings never fosters rational or logical gifts and the emotional inclination to research, to discover and explore.
Where there are active groups that unreservedly make available news, evidence, and promotion of awareness, people are more alive to potential and opportunity, making their surroundings an improved place to live. That is, a "better Benton County."
It is the goal of this website to inform the public, being aware about the issues that affect each of our lives: educating citizens for their own responsibilities to society, and preparing them to deal with crisis and change.
No matter which side anyone takes, every citizen of Benton County should be aware of all the issues and take an active role for the future of our county.
